In the project list you have the options to filter by Name, Project Type, Project Lead and Project Category.
If the list returns too many projects, it will be paginated.

Project categories
In project categories, you have the option to filter by Name and Projects.
Archived projects
Projects can be archived when using the Data Center version only of either Jira software or Jira Service Management.
Archived projects will be listed in a separate tab.
You have the option to filter by Name, Project Type, Project Lead and Project Category.
Since the list grows over time, you have the option to further filter it further using the filter options provided by Admin Toolbox for Jira.
