Workflow Properties

Workflow properties, previously a somewhat hidden feature of workflow statuses or transitions, are now easily accessible.

Admin Toolbox for Jira aggregates all properties used across workflows - many of which are part of the default Jira workflow - and displays them context-specifically. This eliminates common errors such as typos or misapplying status properties to transitions and vice versa. While you can still manually update the keys, it is no longer necessary for routine edits.

Status properties

All status properties are displayed in a tabular format within the text view of the workflow editor. This setup allows you to add, update, reset, or delete properties instantly, without needing to open a separate "View Properties" dialog. System properties are highlighted in grey and are not editable.

Transition properties

Transition properties are listed in the same way as status properties with one exception - the location. Transition properties are listed right next to triggers, conditions, validators, and post functions, in a separate tab.
