Bulk Change Versions

Access the Bulk change version popup

On the Projects page on the Advanced tab, you can select Bulk operations → Versions to access the Bulk change popup.
It lists all versions from the filtered projects as well as the projects each version exists in.

From there, you can create, update, and delete versions as well as add or remove them to and from projects.

Only specific projects displayed

The popup initially displays only the projects as filtered for on the advanced tab. However, you can refine your selection inside the bulk change popup, too.

Grouped by name

All versions in the popup are grouped by name. Although versions are created per project and possess unique IDs, they are displayed as one if they share the same name.
Changing a version's name will update it across all projects where it is used.

Creat versions

Create a new version by clicking the Add version button at the top right of the bulk change popup. A version can only be created if it is associated with at least one project.

Update versions

To update a version's name or description, click the Edit button next to the displayed version.

Versions are grouped by name, not by ID.

Editing a version that is related to several projects results in updating the version in each of that projects.

Add or remove versions

To add or remove a version from a project, simply select the desired projects from the select box adjacent to the version.

Delete versions

Versions can be deleted by deselecting them from every associated project.
