Reorder Transitions

Easily sort workflow transitions using drag & drop. Admin Toolbox automatically updates the opsbar-sequence properties in the background.

Sort Transitions

You can sort transitions only when the workflow is in edit mode (inactive or draft) by clicking the Sort button in the drop-down menu.

Drag and drop the transitions to sort them.

When switching to the diagram view, the sort button is directly available inside the toolbar:

When selecting one transition that is reused in more steps, they will be highlighted in the same color.

Identical transitions across different steps will share the same opsbar-sequence number. Changing this number in one step will automatically update it in all others.

Once you sort the transitions and publish the workflow, the new order will reflect in all issues using this workflow.

Intuitive transition display

In the text view of a workflow configuration, you can choose to display transitions in their sorted order.

When this option is selected, the transitions will also be formatted in a more intuitive manner.

This option does not affect the order of appearance in the issue.
